Membership
Members of CCME belong to the largest international organization dedicated to promoting, encouraging, and delivering quality education to servicemembers and their families in all branches of the United States Armed Forces. Our membership includes military and civilian educators, post-secondary educational institutions, and suppliers of quality education products and services. The CCME symposium is the largest annual forum of its kind with an attendance of about 1000 participants. The annual symposium facilitates the networking and interaction of the key leadership across these organizations in an environment that is focused on enhancing and optimizing voluntary education opportunities for servicemembers and their families.

A portion of your membership also goes towards the CCME Scholarship Endowment Fund dedicated to promoting education opportunities for qualified active duty servicemembers, drilling reservists, National Guard members and their spouses. Contibutions to the fund will come into the fund in 2 ways:
- A portion of membership dues will be deposited into the fund each year
- Corporate, Institution, & Individual CCME members may choose to make contributions at any time throughout the year. These gifts may be given in honor or in memory of individual or organizations.

CCME members include representation from a wide audience:
  • Military Educators – Chiefs of Voluntary Education, Education Services Officers and Education Counselors
  • Higher Education – Colleges and Universities that serve the military audience
  • Servicemembers - Uniform and civilian employees of the Department of Defense and the Department of Homeland Security
  • Government Officials – State and Federal Departments of Education, Veterans Administration
  • Corporations - Providers of educational materials and services
The CCME membership year runs from April 1-March 31. Annual membership categories and rates are as follows:
  • Individual Military $35
    Current members of the United States Armed Forces, including Guard and Reservists, on active duty or as a drilling Guard or Reservist for all branches of the Department of Defense and the United States Coast Guard under the Department of Homeland Security and currently employed Federal employees. Retired and in-active status servicemembers and federal employees are not eligible.
  • Individual Non-Military $50
    Individuals that do not qualify as "Individual Military"
  • Institution (10 individuals) $500
    Accredited colleges & universities and government organizations
  • Businesses and corporations (profit or not-for-profit) $1,000
