Identifying Emerging Learning Styles and Online Support Services

The purpose of this presentation is to identify emerging student learning styles, needs, expectations, and readiness of students required to succeed in an online course. Subjects completed a two-week, non-credit, online, tutorial course and completed three different surveys in addition to other required modules. A recommendation of the initial 2007 study was to conduct additional investigations with different groups of online students to identify any commonalities of the makeup of online learners.
