Amanda Morrow Jensen

Session Time: Wednesday 9:15 - 10:15 am
Room: Aqua 311

Neuroeducation, an emerging field of study that fuses the disciplines of neuroscience, education, and psychology, offers insights particularly useful to veterans and active duty military students. This presentation explores how neuroeducation provides specific solutions to address learning challenges that exist in the brain prior to engaging in military service, as well as those that develop during or as a result of military service.

The presentation will include a few interactive exercises to demonstrate neuroeducation techniques in action, including:

  1. Compare and contrast of audio only and video only instruction
  2. Gaming and competition in instruction
  3. Flexible assessments
