DAWN BILODEAU

US Department of Education Liaison

As a Senior Advisor to Chief Enforcement Officer, she is responsible for developing and maintaining the policies, standards, and procedures governing the work of the Enforcement Office at Federal Student Aid (FSA). She represents the views of the Department of Education (Education) concerning best practices for supporting military-connected students, compliance with laws and regulations governing student financial assistance programs administered by FSA, and engaging in information sharing as delineated in Executive Order 13607, known as the Principles of Excellence.


Prior to her role at Education, she spent over 23 years in Department of Defense military voluntary education. She grew through the ranks of Army Education as a Guidance Counselor, Education Services Specialist, Deputy Director/Chief of Budget & Finance, and Senior Education Program Analyst prior to becoming the Director for DoD Voluntary Education Programs.


Ms. Bilodeau holds a Master's Degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from Arizona State University and is a graduate of the Federal Executive Institute’s Leadership for a Democratic Society program.
