Dr. Belinda Jones

Dr. Belinda Jones, President and CEO of Youth Empowers Service, LLC (YES, LLC) and Past President of CCME brings a commitment and service of over 25+ years of direct corporate client experience in recruiting and training professional support staff. Her experience includes providing program management and evaluation services in support of Department of Defense (DoD) programs which include Voluntary Education Programs, STARBASE Programs, Transition and Family Support Services, Job and Career Counseling and the United Services Military Apprenticeship Program.

Dr. Belinda Jones worked for Indtai, Inc. at Headquarters Marine Corps Education where she creatively lead and managed many cross-functional educational programs and career support services that extend across a variety of contexts including K-12 and post-secondary education, as well as career and military to civilian transition support services. She also focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) programs, especially for youth in underrepresented populations.

Dr. Jones served as an Instructor in the Flagship Presidential Classroom Scholars Instructor Program; served on the Department of Veterans Affairs Inter-Agency Task Force on Licensure and Apprenticeship; and received meritorious awards for the implementation of the first United Services Military Apprenticeship Program with the Navy and Coast Guard recognized by Department of Labor, Outstanding Marine Corps Installation Command Support, and five and ten-year Service Awards to the Federal Government from the Headquarters Marine Corps Personal and Family Readiness Division.

Dr. Jones has a Doctoral degree in Higher Education Leadership from NOVA Southeastern University, Master of Public Administration from Albany State University and B.S. in Public Administration from Florida A&M University.

Dr. Jones brings an unyielding dedication and compassion for leveraging opportunities of education, credentialing and career programs for youth and adults within communities. Dr. Jones' primary focus has been and will always remain the advancement and wellness of Service members, Veterans, and their families.

Dr. Jones was born and raised in Florida and now resides in Virginia with her family.
