CHERYL KENNEDY

Treasurer

Cheryl has worked in higher education for over 18 years and with Webster University since 2010. She started at a Community College as an extended campus cashier then progressed to Business Office Assistant Director. When she moved back to St. Louis, she became an extended campus Representative for Webster University. In August 2019 she made the move to El Paso, Texas. She served as the interim Director until January 2020 when she accepted the Director position.


Cheryl grew up as an “Army Brat” since her father served for thirty years. She has lived all over the United States as well as Germany and Crete Greece. She comes from a strong military family background. Her daughter served in the Air Force, her son-in-law is activeduty Army, and her uncle served in the Air Force. All veterans hold a special place in her heart. Cheryl claims St. Louis, Missouri as home but the past four years she has lived in El Paso, Texas. She says she is part gypsy since she lived a nomadic life.


She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from McKendree University. She has a Master's in International Relations and one in Management and Leadership, both from Webster University. After graduating from McKendree she worked in corporate America for many years before finally making the transition to higher education. She loves assisting students in reaching their educational goals. Cheryl is proud to be a member of this great organization!
