About the event
Our legacy is our foundation. Our future is innovation. The 2027 CCME Professional Development Symposium, Celebrating Our Legacy: From Tradition to Transformation honors the trailblazers, partnerships, and programs that built military voluntary education while challenging us to transform how we serve today’s military-connected learners. The 2027 CCME Professional Development Symposium will unite visionary leaders from education, the military, government, workforce development, and industry to advance bold, practical solutions for service members, veterans, and military spouses.
Explore the ideas redefining education-to-career pathways: learner mobility, skills-based education and hiring, competency-based learning, stackable credentials, credit for prior learning, credential transparency, responsible AI, and workforce-aligned learning. Together, we will examine how degrees, certifications, and industry-recognized credentials can work together to support successful military-to-civilian transitions, lifelong learning, career advancement, and economic mobility.
This is more than a conversation about change—it is a call to lead it. Join us to exchange promising practices, build powerful cross-sector partnerships,…
