About the event

Mental Health Best Practices: Seeking Help and Building Resilience

Seeking support for mental health challenges is a sign of strength—not weakness. Yet many service members, veterans, and military families continue to face barriers to accessing care, navigating treatment options, and finding the right support.

This webinar explores practical, evidence-based strategies for seeking help, overcoming common barriers to care, understanding why treatment may not always work the first time, and building resilience throughout life's transitions. Participants will gain valuable insights into how to identify appropriate resources, advocate for themselves or others, and foster long-term mental wellness.

During this interactive session, participants will learn about:

  • Common barriers that prevent individuals from seeking mental health care

  • Best practices for finding the right provider and treatment approach
