Nathalia’s extensive background and unwavering commitment to supporting military-affiliated students. Nathalia specializes in assisting Veterans, active military service members, and their families. Her strategic initiatives have facilitated seamless transitions for numerous military affiliated students, fostering a supportive environment that enhances opportunities.
Nathalia’s career reflects her dedication to military advocacy. Prior to her role at UHP, she played pivotal roles at Blugold Beginnings at UW-Eau Claire, Campbell University, University of Health and Performance and National University, where she consistently demonstrated her passion for service member success and higher education. Her educational achievements include an associate’s degree from the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire, a bachelor’s degree from Campbell University, and a master’s degree in public health (MPH) from National University. These credentials underscore her academic rigor and commitment to lifelong learning.
Nathalia’s military service spans 12+ years in the Wisconsin, North Carolina, and Texas Army National Guards. This firsthand experience uniquely qualifies her to understand the needs of military personnel and guide them to create meaningful conversations for their futures.
Nathalia’s leadership extends to her roles as Chair of the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States (EANGUS) Corporate Advisory Panel, President of the Texas Advisory Council on Military Education and her advocacy work as an ESGR representative. Her six-year service to the CCME Board in the position of secretary, Administrative Officer, Symposium Manager and Events Officer further demonstrates her commitment to advancing the interests of military-affiliated personnel on a national level.
Born in Zanzibar, Tanzania, and currently residing in Austin TX, Nathalia brings a diverse perspective and a deep understanding of the military community.
